Back in 1934, Peter Bartuska Sr. opened a small shop in downtown Nanticoke.  He sold appliances, sewing machines and many other household items, as well as furniture. 

Today, Bartuska's Furniture is a landmark in Nanticoke.  Denis and Jim continue to do business the way their grandfather did, always keeping a close watch on expenses to keep prices low, and always treating customers right.
